Q Residence

Our relationships with our spaces have evolved drastically because of the pandemic. Now more than ever, we see the home as a refuge. A part of that is being thoughtful about surrounding ourselves with living things to celebrate life. With this as our driving concept, we designed this residence as a home set within a garden—one that grows old with you. 

An important part of the design process is finding the optimal balance between the site and built environment. As we push and pull, explore through trial and error, we attune the relationship between garden and house—planning for a multigenerational home that ages with its inhabitants. 

Even with an open plan, each area of the house has been developed to have its own distinct character. We set out to feature the natural aesthetic, pairing it with the warmth of a Filipino home. Designed with views that bring the outside in, the living spaces become a part of the garden.
