The coronavirus pandemic has altered our lives dramatically in almost all aspects. As schools shift to unconventional yet necessary modes of learning online, the experience of engaging in face-to-face human interactions and organic social connections are conditions that cannot be virtually replicated.

As we navigate our respective lives in these trying times, we are all looking forward to the day that students and teachers can safely go back to schools and take part in collaboration, sharing experiences, and learning from each other.

The design for this school fitout project is based on the school’s dedication to provide quality education and progressive learning to its students. The use of straightforward materials and stimulating colors were essential in aligning the design with the school’s core values. The school’s unique typology in the middle of Manila gave us an opportunity to take advantage of passive wayfinding devices through well-defined spaces and effective graphics.
